Santa Claus Parade
Preparations are well underway for Cobourg's Santa Claus Parade. Grab your mittens, bundle up, and join us in downtown Cobourg for one of the community’s most cherished traditions, Saturday, November 29th at 6pm along King Street, while we welcome Santa to town.
Since 1955, the Cobourg Santa Claus Parade has kicked off the Christmas season. This event is part of the fabric of our community that brings people together.
You’ll see a mix of local schools, community groups, and organizations showing their creativity as they take part in the parade. Bands will be playing, floats will be rolling, and the streets will be full of energy. And yes, Santa will be coming to town!
This year's theme is Once Upon a Christmas: A Storybook Christmas Parade.
Experience Cobourg is accepting registrations from community organizations, groups and businesses who want to be a part of the Parade.
There will be no parking on King Street on November 29th, beginning at 3pm in order to prepare for the parade. The parade route begins at William Street and King Street, by the Cobourg Library and continues East along King Street.
The Town of Cobourg's Santa Claus Parade is made possible thanks to the support of local community sponsors. This year’s parade still has many sponsorship levels available. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, reach out to Brittany Hosey by email bhosey@cobourg.ca.
Thank you to our generous sponsors of the 2025 Cobourg Santa Claus Parade.
